Garden wedding Dublin

Rebecca and Fred / Garden wedding Dublin : Fred and Rebecca had their wedding reception on the grounds of Rebecca’s parents home in Dublin, it was absolutely perfect, it was one of the hottest days of the year! They held their ceremony on their local church not far from Rebecca’s home, it was one of the prettiest little churches I have ever seen.

Rebecca’s wedding Outfit : Rebecca had decided to create her own outfit. She broke it down into separate pieces. For the church she wore a long coat embroidered with a tree of life pattern, designed by Rohit Bal which she bought in India while she was there designing their new furniture collection.  Beneath her coat was a beautiful beaded top which she designed and was also made in India. One of her talented family friends, Sarah Pierce, designed the beautiful long satin skirt for underneath and also a pair of satin trousers. After dinner she removed her coat to reveal her halter neck top and changed into the trousers for dancing into the early hours!

The Reception : They had a mix of influences for the design from India where Rebecca travels for work to the garden where the wedding was hosted. However the fact that the wedding was in a garden they were inspired to created a bohemian botanical feel. The floral colour theme was very organic, greens and whites, lots of herbs and ferns interspersed with white sweet peas and peonies. The inside of the marquee was block printed to match their wedding stationary.
